MOBILE DOG GROOMING ABOUT US Hello! My name is Kathy McNamara. I am the owner and operator of Curbside ClipNClean Mobile Dog Grooming. I am a graduate of Nash Academy of Animal Arts. The Nash Academy is well respected, both nationally and internationally, for training highly skilled and professional pet stylists. They not only teach the skills necessary to turn out a well-groomed dog, they teach how to handle the dogs with love and compassion. I am fully certified to groom all small and large breed dogs. I have been trained in hand-stripping and hand-scissoring techniques. I obtained a Diploma in the 600 hour Pet Grooming program. This is the highest pet-grooming certification available. I have been a dog lover for many years. I have a Golden Retriever named Kirby. He loves his grooming sessions and has been instrumental in my choices of products used in my salon. I decided to go into mobile grooming after watching pets go through seperation anxiety while in cages in the salons. It was very upsetting to see them so scared to be in an unfamiliar environment. Instead of a day away from you, mobile grooming allows your dog to stay on their own property which greatly reduces seperation anxiety. Throughout the year, I attend seminars and tradeshows to keep up with the latest trends in grooming techniques and developments in grooming tools and equipment. I am also a member of the American Mobile Groomers Assoc. and the National Dog Groomers Assoc. of America.
